Denver Broncos Announce End of Anthem Demonstrations And It Will Make Americans PROUD

The Denver Broncos have had enough with the national anthem protests and want to take the politics out of football.

The NFL Broncos announced that they will, together as a team, stand on Sunday for the national anthem, instead of dismantling the flag and our historical icon that brings us together as a nation.

They believe in showing respect together, and understand how the anthem brings great honor the country and its veterans deserve.

The 52-players on the team were extremely passionate about their thoughts and created a joint statement about their actions last week.

Explaining that their actions were  “in no way a protest of the military, the flag or those who keep us safe.”

The statement from the NFL players came a few days after Broncos executive John Elway – who led the team to a Superbowl victory as its quarterback in 1997 – said he believes in standing for the anthem.

“Take the politics out of football,” Elway said.

The statement created by the team also had some explanation about their demonstrations from the previous week:

“Last week, members of our team joined their brothers around the NFL in a powerful display of unity. As controversial as it appeared, we needed to show our collective strength and resolve,” the Broncos said.

Reported by insiderfoxnews:

The team said its locker room is very diverse, but that being members of the same squad unite them as a team.

“No matter how divisive some comments and issues can be, nothing should get in the way of that,” the team said, appearing to reference President Trump's comments in Alabama last week.

Outside linebacker Von Miller, who helped lead the team's demonstrations last week, said after that game that Trump “assaulted” their freedom of speech, and that “we had to do something.”

For Anyone Who Argued Colin Kaepernick’s Protest Was NOT Against the Flag and Country, See His Latest Statement

Since the very first time ex-San Francisco 49er’s quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, decided to take a knee for the national anthem, he has insisted he was “in no way” disrespecting the American flag or his country…

Are you sure about that Mr. Kaepernick?

I know there are more than a few people and fans out there who will argue otherwise.

His reply to his initial protest display was that he knelt in response to the “systemic oppression against people of color [and] police brutality.”

President Trump’s response on the other hand is on a whole other ball field…

Former NFL player, Colin Kaepernick is sticking strong to his beliefs that he is not bashing the flag by kneeling. He honestly didn’t even get much media attention when it first happened he confirmed himself during an interview with the

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.”

“To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

Kaepernick bluntly stated, “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag” in August 2016, after he knelt during a preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.

According to IJR:

Kaepernick's kneeling has sparked a national divide amongst fans all around the US.

Even getting President Trump involved when he stated team owners should fire those “sons of b*****s” who kneel.

The president also commented on a Monday night football game in which players knelt before the national anthem. When the Dallas Cowboys knelt before the national anthem, Trump said, they provoked “great anger” and the “loudest” booing he's “ever heard”:

“I think that it's always appropriate for the president of the United States to defend our flag, to defend the national anthem, and to defend the men and women who fought and died to defend it,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said.

Police Officer Crashes — Trump Refuses to Take Off Until He Talks to Him

President Donald Trump just made it crystal clear just how much our US police officers really mean to him.

While President Trump was on his way back to Air Force One through Indiana, Robert Turner, one of the Indianapolis Metropolitan police officers, got in a horrible motorcycle accident on I-70.

Though the cause of the crash is still unknown, many people stopped to take pictures and hesitated to help the officer off the ground. Witnesses posted pictures showing the officer with cuts and bruises lying on the ground next to his motorcycle on the highway.

Even after help arrived to save the officer, Turner’s motorcycle was left behind, destroyed on the road as people drove around it.

Officer Turner was rushed to the hospital and immediately put into a neck brace. He appeared to be in very poor condition.

But then he received a call…

President Donald Trump found out about the accident and decided to personally call the officer at the hospital to see how he was doing and to give him a few words of encouragement.

According to ijr:

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department posted to Facebook that Trump refused to take off until he spoke with the wounded officer to thank him for his service. Watch:

The caption read:

Video of injured Officer Turner speaking with President Donald J. Trump. POTUS delayed taking off from #Indy until he was assured Officer Turner was ok and he also called and spoke with the Officer. #ThankYou

On behalf of the IMPD, we would like to take an opportunity to thank President Donald J. Trump for his thoughtful act in delaying his departure in Air Force One until he was assured that the officer injured in the motorcade accident was ok.

Calls were made by his staff to Chief Bryan Roach checking on Cycle Officer Turner. President Trump even took the time to speak with Officer Turner after the accident, to check on him. Thank you for your compassion, concern, and leadership Mr. President!

Don't you just love how the president made it very clear how much he cares about our law enforcement.

Charles Barkley’s Heated Take on NFL and National Anthem Protesters

Introducing another former professional athlete who has something to say about President Trump’s actions towards the NFL protests: Mr. Charles Barkley.

Former NBA player Charles Barkley has decided to weigh in on the current drama surrounding the NFL.

With the considerable amount of athletes involved in the national anthem protests after President Trump’s comments on their “disrespect towards the flag,” the NBA Legend could not hold back any longer.

During “The Dan Patric Show” on Monday, Charles Barkley gave his thoughts on the national anthem protests and actions of athlete Steph Curry during his response to President Trump and the elimination of being invited to the White House.

Barkley stated that “he would stand for the national anthem when it came to him personally.”

But he made sure to shut down the stereotypical responses expected from fans that disagreed with what he had to say.

“You know, Dan, you said something earlier and it always annoys me when people say it — you know I've never voted Republican a day in my life. I'm a Democrat and just for the record, Democrats aren't doing anything for black people either.

My mother asked me if we're Republican or Democrat and she said only rich people are Republican. I said, ‘you do know we're rich, right?' People assume — I do want to make that clear. I've always voted Democratic, but they're not doing anything for us either. I want to make that clear.”

Reported by ijr:

Barkley then went on to state that he doesn't understand why the players aren't going into the communities themselves:

“The media has totally hijacked this conversation about who's kneeling, who's not kneeling, who's holding their fist up. I forgot why these guys are doing it. We got a lot of power. We got to use that power in a position way. We can go into some of these communities and do a lot of positive stuff. Don't worry about what the president says.

The players, they got so much money now and got so much influence. We need to take a progressive approach and go into these communities ourselves and try to make a difference.

The players got to say, ‘what can we do collectively?' Let's don't worry about the president, let's don't worry about the media. What can we do individually?

They can go to the owners and say, ‘hey let's go into these communities,' instead of wasting time about kneeling and who's protesting.”

Barkley also was asked about Steph Curry's comments towards the president, which led the Trump taking back his invitation to the Golden State Warriors to visit the White House after winning the NBA Finals:

“Well I think anytime you get an opportunity to go to the White House, it's an honor and a privilege. Don't care who the president is — I think you should go. How many times are you going to get an opportunity to sit down with the president and discuss some issues with him? Not going is over with. It's just giving these guys on TV and radio something to talk about.”

Barkley, who made it clear he was a Democrat and always voted Democrat, didn't hold anything back and made a brilliant point that maybe the players should go make a difference themselves in the communities instead of “wasting their time kneeling.”

Despite being a Democrat, Charles Barkley does bring up a good point.. Professional athletes should go make a difference in the communities in need, instead of “wasting their time kneeling!”

Congressman Gowdy Completely Eviscerates Cocky CNN Host… On Her Own Show!

Kirsters Baish| During an on air interview with Representative Trey Gowdy (Republican, South Carolina), CNN host Erin Burnett got schooled. She stupidly tried to stir the pot when she brought up a comment that was made recently by President Donald Trump regarding his faith. Unfortunately for the unprepared CNN host, Gowdy knew a little more about the Constitution and religion than she did. Does that really surprise you though?

During a rally this week President Trump stated, “you’ve heard me say it before on the campaign trail, and I’ll say it again tonight. In America, we don’t worship government, we worship God.”

The Blaze reported that Burnett decided to come out with, “now conservative Bill Kristol, you know him. He’s been critical of the president before, but on this he tweets, ‘In America the president doesn’t tell us who or what or whether to worship.'”

She then asked the question, “who do you agree with, Bill Kristol or the president who just came out and definitively said in America we worship God?”

Gowdy came to the interview prepared, and obviously has done more research on the subject that Burnett ever has. He stated, “how about choice ‘C,’ our founding fathers who gave us a First Amendment which is a free exercise right but also a freedom to have no religion if that’s what we want.”

He went on to say, “there is no established religion in this country, that’s why we have an Establishment Clause. The president is welcome to share his faith, it’s been done by other presidents. Jimmy Carter did it, John F. Kennedy did it.”

He finished up by saying, “if President Trump wants to share his faith, more power to him, but our country recognizes all religions including no religion.”

Burnett’s stunned face says it all. And to make it even better, this isn’t the first time that Burnett has been hypercritical of President Trump’s Christian faith. In the past she has displayed shock towards Christians praying with President Trump and performing a “laying on of the hands” ritual like it was completely foreign to her… but I’m sure throwing a mat down on the ground and praying to Allah is totally normal in her eyes.

It’s time for these CNN anchors to stop acting like they know all and take a lesson here and there. Luckily, Gowdy was prepared for Burnett’s question and answered perfectly. Maybe next time she’ll think before trying to bash the President of our country.
